Still Us — for couples

Not therapy.
Infrastructure.

Still Us is the conversation tool for couples who aren't in crisis — but whose relationship has slowly thinned under the weight of parenthood. 22 cards. Developed with a psychologist with 29 years of clinical experience.

1

Choose a card together.

22 cards organised across 9 categories — from lighter conversations to the deeper ones. Start wherever feels right.

2

Answer one at a time.

Write down your reflections as the conversation unfolds. Saved privately — just for you.

3

Listen to each other and talk through your answers.

What happens then is the conversation — not what you prepared, but what you didn't know you needed to have.

Still Us — Opening

What is it about how we end the day that means you're still carrying thoughts and responsibilities when you're trying to fall asleep?

Still Us — Scenario

A task has become "yours". The other steps back. Over time the difference feels normal. How does the relationship change when roles are no longer questioned?

Still Us — Reflection

When do you notice yourself doing something that goes against a value you actually want to stand for?

Your thought journal

Write down your reflections as the conversation unfolds. Saved privately — just for you.

The archive

Every completed conversation is saved with your reflections. What you've built doesn't disappear. Your relationship gets a memory.

Clinical sequencing

The cards follow a 9-layer clinical structure — from safe opening to deeper territory. The structure is built in.

Not therapy

Still Us doesn't require anything to be wrong. It is a preventative tool for couples who want to keep choosing each other.

I have 29 years of experience as a psychologist, primarily working with children and their parents — individually and together. As a clinical psychologist I have worked with assessment and treatment in child and adolescent psychiatry and child health services, as well as consultation, supervision and training in schools and preschools.

As a psychotherapist I have worked with individual long-term therapies for young people and adults, as well as couples therapy and family counselling. The foundation of my work is psychodynamic theory with a focus on attachment, affect, mentalisation and relationships.

What you're wondering
before you begin.

Does my partner need to be involved from the start?

No. You can download the app and explore the products on your own. For Still Us, only one of you needs the app — you work through the questions together when it feels right.

From what age are the cards suitable?

The children's products are designed for children from age 3 and up. Me in Myself suits children from age 3, Everyday Cards and Sibling Cards from age 6, Me with Others from age 6, Me in the World from age 12, and Sexuality Cards from age 13.

Does the child need to be able to read?

No. For younger children, the adult reads the questions aloud. The conversation happens between you — the app is just the structure.

How long does a conversation take?

It varies. A children's card takes 10–20 minutes depending on the child's age and energy. Still Us takes 20–30 minutes per card. No session requires preparation — you open the app and start.

Is this therapy?

No. Bonki is a preventative tool — not therapy and not a substitute for professional support. It is a structured way to have the conversations that otherwise never happen, in a safe format that doesn't require anything to be wrong.
